Woody
Woody is our Icelandic pony who is in his twenties. He is very proud of his beautiful trot which is specific to his breed. He has lived with us for four years.
Woody has a very kind and gentle heart and loves to smell your hair! He has encountered men in his past who beat him, which causes him to be shy of quick movements. You can see the fear from his past experiences in his big, brown eyes. He tries very hard each day to have courage and has come to trust us.
Woody has taught us that fear can be overcome with kindness, patience and love. He would love to have you give him a hug; he is like a big Teddy Bear.
