Our Horse Program
Children ages 3 - 18 are accepted into the program and are allowed to participate to their full ability. While some of the children are too sick to actually ride, they find hope and courage by brushing, feeding, or just sitting on a bale of hay and talking to a horse.
Children who are strong enough to ride are allowed to progress at their own speed and level. This may mean a child on a horse with someone leading him and a side-walker on each side. It may mean a child having a private lesson on a horse and riding independently. Some children choose not to ride at all, preferring to ride in a cart and learn to drive the horses.
 
Each child is paired with at least one volunteer so that no child is ever lost in a crowd.

To participate each child will need:
· Completed Participant Application Form (download form)
· Release and Waiver
· Physician Consent Form
Once your application is complete, please call the farm to schedule your first visit!
